What does it mean to be a member of the Earth?
By default, we are all born as members of this earth. Whether or not people choose to uphold their responsibility to what gives us life is an entirely different story. This is my outlet, my personal journey, and my drop in an ocean of differing views and loud advocacy. The environment, culture, and democracy are privileges often taken for granted. Evolution is a natural and expected way of life, whether for better or for worse is up to us.

Animal trafficking is the third most lucrative crime in the world. It harms up to 350 million specimens each year. This inhumane form of trade pushes millions of species closer to extinction. This inspired Senda Verde to make their mark and stop as much of the illegal wildlife trafficking in Bolivia as possible. This nonprofit NGO has been saving hundreds of thousands of animals for decades. You can too. Please donate.

How to begin, my name is Adriana Olea. I am 19 years old and an incoming sophomore at Northeastern University. I started this blog two years ago as a high school sophomore at MAST Academy in an attempt to raise awareness for environmental and global news crucial to the development of society as a whole. I was inspired by a trip I took to Senda Verde in 2018 with my grandfather. One that taught me so much about the potential impact that human beings can have on the world, and the impact of using one's voice for good. This blog is an outlet for my thoughts, opinions, and current issues prevalent in the global arena. So, if you know me personally or don't, welcome to my brain :)
